Amatus Kusic is a German-French artist and photographer living in Dusseldorf and Paris. His work feels both precise and intuitive, highly technical yet deeply human at the same time. Perhaps it's this combination that has led brands and personalities alike to return to his distinctive visual language over the years. Adidas, Snipes, Replay, Colors, and Grat are just some of the names that have found their way into collaborations with him, some of them more than once.

Taking time to develop the colors and lighting before a shooting even starts, being first on set to build the atmosphere, and giving talent the freedom to move within that framework is one of his favorite parts of the process. The result often feels documentary rather than staged - a carefully considered world where the concept can unfold naturally. With architecture, his approach shifts. Here, he actively constructs the image, pushing the contrast between people and objects and exploring how far a photograph can move away from its original identity. What emerges is a space between reality and surrealism, between the static and the free-flowing - where architecture becomes as much a product of his imagination as a physical place.
